Just Add Ink #458...Alphabet!

 Just Add Ink

Happy Friday friends!

We have a fun new "Alphabet" challenge over at Just Add Ink from Tina this week, she has challenged us to use "ONE" of the above letters on our projects!

I have chosen the letter "Y" from the word you, diecut using the "Celebrate You" thinlits and combined it with the Classic Garage 6x6 dsp and the Stitched Rectangles to create a Tunnel/Shadow Box fold.

Measurements:
2x 6-1/4"  X 5-1/2" for the base.
Scored at 1/2" & 1" on the 6-1/4" length on both sides of each piece.
Panel: 4" x 5-1/4"

Lots of fun alphabet ideas from the team over on the challenge blog, make sure you click on the link or banner above to pop over and take a peek!

Colour INKspiration #56

Evening all!

We have a new Colour INKspiration challenge happening and just look at those gorgeous colours! This one will run for 3 weeks, instead of our normal 2...That gives you plenty of time to click on the link or banner above, request to join our Facebook group, get creating and join us!

I have another Tunnel/shadow box card to share, same, same but different to my previous Colour INKspiration project. This one being more for the girls with these gorgeous colours and just slightly different measurements.
I have used the "Bloom by Bloom" set to add pops of colour and the nesting oval framelits. These are lots of fun and so simple to make and l love that the sides squish in accordian style, to allow the use of a normal envelope.

Measurements:
Base - 2 x 6-1/4" x 5-1/2"  (Panels can be made in any size and still scored the same).
Scored at 1/2" & 1" on the 6-1/4" length on both sides of each piece.
Panel: 4" x 5-1/4"

How sweet was Rachel Palmieri project? Now you are off to see what fabulous creation Julia Quinn has for you.

Colour INKspiration #55

 Colour INK

Evening friends!

It's time for a new  Colour INKspiration challenge! Lots of pretty colours to choose from and as long as we used at least 3, we met the challenge requirements.

I've gone with Lemon Lime Twist-Coastal Cabana-Flirty Flamingo & Smoky Slate to create a "Shadow Box/Tunnel" card...Not really sure exactly what its called, as there are various names attached to the ones l have seen.
BUT...I do need to confess to a blooper, when writing the challenge colours on my desk memo pad for up coming challenges, l abbreviated Grapefruit Grove to "Grape" and you guessed it...I used Gorgeous Grape instead, only realizing when uploading my pic and by then it had already been sent off..."Note to self" be more vigilant in future!

Are you happily hopping and just arrived here from the always amazing project of the lovely Bronwyn Eastley? If not, you can click on the "Next" banner below to complete the loop and you will see all of the fabulous projects from the team.

Measurements:
Base: 2 x 5-1/4" x 5-1/2" (these can actually be any size, as long as you score the same)
Scored at 1/2" & 3/4" on both sides of the 5-1/2" length on both pieces.
Panel 4-3/4" x 3-1/2"

Just Add Ink #455...Sympathy!

 Just Add Ink

Happy Friday everyone!

This week over at Just Add Ink Kim has challenged us to "Add Sympathy" to our projects! I really like this challenge, as l struggle to make sympathy cards at a time when they are required, so having a pre made on hand is always a good thing!

For my project this week, l have used the "Share What You Love" suite and a new to me fold. This fold is commonly referred to as a "Triangle Fold" and was fun and so simple to create.

The rest of the design team have created some beautiful "Sympathy" cards, so make sure you pop over to the blog and check them out!

Stamp Review Crew....Bike Ride!

 SRC

Good Morning everyone!....It's time to share the current Stamp Review Crew hop and for this one we are showcasing the fun "BIKE RIDE" set.
If you are happily hopping along, you would have arrived here from the lovely Linda Callahan and her fabulous project!
But if not, you can click on the "SRC" link or banner above to be redirected to our blog page or you can click on the next banner below to complete the loop and see all of the fabulous projects from our oh so talented, international design team crew!

I decided to look at all of the little details in this set, rather than just the bike image. I've used the "Wheel & Blooms" to create a sweet hanging wagon wheel effect on one of the cute "Note card/Envelopes".
My floral colours are So Saffron-Old Olive-Mossy Meadow-Granny Apple Green & Mango Melody, coloured with SU markers, using the no line colouring concept.
The wheel was stamped in Crumbcake and daubered with Soft Suede.

Happy hopping and your next destination is the talented Heidi Baks

Just Add Ink #454...Colour!

Happy Friday everyone!

It's time for another Just Add Ink challenge and for this one, the lovely Lou has given us this great colour combination to create with!

As l usually do when faced with a bold colour combo, l keep it clean and simple with loads of white and let the colours really pop and shine.
I've used the
Bouquet of Blooms and Love What You Do stamp sets to create a clustered focal point.

The rest of the design team have created some fabulous projects with this weeks colours, so make sure you stop by the challenge blog and take a peek!
