We have a brand new challenge starting over at Just Add Ink. This week Rochelle has suggested we add "Ombre" to our projects.
As l'm still on my "Lift me Up" bundle obsession, l chose the SAB dsp called "Carried Away" that coordinates with the bundle and using Peekaboo Peach and the foam roller, l created an Ombre background.
The splatters are an old fave technique from a Tim Holtz class l did eons ago. Its fun, simple and effective. Using a spray bottle of water, spray it into your palm, let it drip to your finger tips and flick over the inked area. Allow it to wick out and dry naturally for best results.
Don't forget to stop by and check out all of the fun Ombre projects from the design team.
Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are Stampin Up!
Great card Nikki! The Peekaboo Peach is a gorgeous colour for Ombre and I love the water splatters over it. A fabulous look. Rochelle xo
