Yay! I'm excited to be joining this hop at Stamp Review Crew...It's been a whole month since l participated, so l was really looking forward to this one..:0)
For this hop we are showcasing the lovely "Paisleys & Petals" set. I really enjoyed creating three very different samples to share.
If you are following along the hop, you would have just arrived from fab blog of Bruno Bertucci But if you have just landed here and would like to start at the beginning you can click on the banner up top to be redirected or you can continue on your merry way by clicking the "Next" banner below!
For my first sample, l've gone with the current fad of line art colouring books...although clearly this is not a book..lol
This idea would be lots of fun made in multiples and gifted with some colouring pencils or markers.
For the second sample, l have used Wisteria wonder, baked Brown sugar/Kraft and gold embossing to create a more classic paisley look.
And last but not least, my third sample uses the yummy Copper embossing powder, Mint Macaron and Dapper Denim.
Now you are off to inspired by the lovely and talented Tanya Boser
I have been asked for details on my second card, so thought l would add them here for anyone else that's interested...
Whisper White panel: 3.5/8" x 4.7/8"
Kraft panel: 3.6/8" x 5"
Place both panels together, keeping the lefthand side and the bottoms level. (The Kraft one should be peeking out at the top & right sides)
Place on your cutter with the bottom left point on the cutting line and push the rest of the panels (keeping them together) past that point, to remove required amount. This is totally your choice.
Now line up the left side and top together and this will give you even amounts of Kraft peeking out on the bottom and right sides.
Thanks for stopping by!
All supplies used are Stampin Up!
Wow, Nikki, what a trio! I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried they're all such great ideas. You have given me lots of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh Nikki, these are so lovely! I love the idea of gifting the first card with colored pencils. The pops of gold on the second card are sooo gorgeous! And the third card, let's just say that i have a new color combo to try ;)
ReplyDeleteThree fabulously awesome cards, Nikki. Love the style of each one. I must crack open my copper embossing powder. Great to catch up with you in Brisvegas.
ReplyDeleteThree awesome cards! I like each style and the color combos you used I will have to give them a try!
ReplyDeleteI keep looking at this set. I'm not a particular fan of paisleys, but I have loved the ideas that everyone has created. Your second card with the wisteria wonder combination is absolutely stunning so I have made my decision that they will be on my next order. Thank you so much for all your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteTracey
Could you Please send me the directions for your second card. All your cards were really nice cards, but the second one is my favorite. If you don't mind sharing I'd love the directions. Even if you don't want to share, Thank YOU for sharing your pictures. I'm also a SUD.
