Just Add Ink #297...Colour!



This week over at Just Add Ink we have a pretty colour challenge happening. I decided it was time to ink up my new "Birthday Blooms" set and went with some pan watercolouring for the main image.
Although you can't see it in the pics, it has a very liberal dose of "Wink of Stella" over the whole flower image...So pretty IRL!
The design team have created some gorgeous projects using this colour palette, so don't forget to pop over and check them out.

    I was so close to using this flower as well - it's the perfect image for this pretty challenge colour. Your card is just stunning Nikki - love the softness you've used the image by using the blue shading. LOVE!!!

    Nikki I think your water colouring looks fab and I love the little pin hole detailing. I love that we both chose to use this image yet we've created cards that are so different :)

    I just adore this card! I am new to water coloring and wonder is the image stamped right onto the water color paper? or is it cut out? I do love the blue it makes the flower look like it's popping right off the card. Will love to you this as an example for practicing! Thank you so much for sharing!
