Happy Friday friends!...We have a very cool challenge happening at Just Add Ink this week!
Paula suggested we make a project using "Shaker Frames" how much fun is that!
Paula suggested we make a project using "Shaker Frames" how much fun is that!
My initial idea had been to go bright & colourful with heaps of coloured sparkles, but as you can see, that idea went out the window..:0) Well actually just the end of my desk, I'll share that set later.
I decided to go with a positive frame for my shaker. Using the "Deco Label" framelits from Stampin Up and some thin foam that l had in my stash, l diecut one frame from foam and another from Lost Lagoon cardstock and the full window from window sheets.
I ended up using some inspiration from one of the projects we made at "Inspire-Create-Share" and inked up the lovely leaves from "Kinda Eclectic" in Moss Meadow & my Hexagon embossing folder in Lost Lagoon. The sequins are also from my stash and are a perfect match for the delish Blackberry Bliss ribbon.
With the leftover diecut panels from the centers, l made a smaller version to decorate the "Hamburger Box"...It's a really soft & pretty set IRL...But these pics don't do them justice!
Go have a peek at the design teams projects, there are some very cool ideas that will have you running for your sequins, beads and glitter...:0)
"Thanks for stopping by & have a great day"
All supplies used are Stampin Up, unless noted!
I love your colour combo Nikki. The blue and green are soft and the lush dark sparkle of the sequins and ribbon just add richness and depth. Gorgeous - and love that you couldn't stop at one :) xxx
