Good Morning!....I have another watercolour card to share today. I am so far behind with my homework for these classes and have mixed the days up so much, that l don't remember what technique was shared on what day. But l know this one was shared by Laura Bassen and although l have used this technique before on cards, it was heaps of fun to revisit..:0)
To create the background, l inked up one of my acrylic blocks with various Stampin Up ink pads and lightly misted the block and stamped onto watercolour paper...So easy and Lot's of fun!
"Thanks for stopping by"
All supplies except card base are Stampin Up!
Did you use a sponge or other product to apply the ink to the acrylic block? The colors are so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteHi Allison. l applied ink directly from the inkpads to the block, just be careful not to overlap colours so you don't transfer colours. When you mist with the water, they blend together fine..:0)
