Wasn't that a great way to start off the Just Add Ink challenge year! I want to say
a big "Thank You" for all of the lovely blog comments, they were very much appreciated and it seems you all enjoyed our Blog Hop as much as we did. l know l am looking forward to casing some of the great Big Shot projects as a result....just need to find my studio table under all the rubble that has taken over from some crazy playtime, you know the sort? You pull everything out looking for that one little embellishment you know is in there somewhere...l know you are smiling! and "Yes" l did find it, after said project was completed...:0)
Over at Just Add Ink this week we have a lovely Sketch challenge from Mae to inspire you.
I enjoyed playing with this sketch, so much so, l ended up with two cards made for my DT entry. Both very different in style and yet l like them equally, so l am sharing them both with you and would love to hear which one you prefer.
As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of Stampin-Ups Stippled Blossoms set, l just love the beautiful big rose and have yet to stamp it in a colour l don't like!
Well l hope you enjoy the lovely Design Team inspiration this week and you can find some time to play along with this very versatile sketch.
"Thanks for stopping by & have a great day"

Both are lovely, but I think I prefer the top one with the elegant white background.
ReplyDeleteThey are both gorgeous Nikki - but I find myself surprised to say that its the second one. I love how the DSP ties in with the rose. xxx (PS: I'm resisting this set with difficulty!!)
ReplyDeleteOh, Nikki, do I have to choose? I love the white space on the first one and the DSP on the second. I'm like Kim. You're making this set look too good!
ReplyDeleteVery hard to choose a fave out of these two Nikki - I love the white space on your first card, but the yellow/green of the second is a stand out. Both really gorgeous. x
ReplyDeleteI love both of these beauties Nikki - I couldn't choose a favourite! I agree that I do love the amount of white you've used on your first card though!
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous, Nikki, but the red & white combo is my favourite! Love the elegance of the design. You keep tempting me to buy that set with your beautiful blooms! :)
