A couple of quickies.....to enable myself!

As it's been awhile since l have blogged anything other than my JAI posts, l thought l would share a couple of  creations l have made in recent weeks, l decided to use some sets that l haven't used all that much, with the new Stampin-Up catalogue only weeks away, l thought l should put ink to rubber so l can justify buying new toy's.
I also thought l would give my "Owl" punch a whirl, as l think he/she is so cute and a perfect companion for my Woodgrain background stamp.....

I was pretty happy with the end result of this one, very simple and quick!

This one uses the SU set "Funky Four"  and l'm ashamed to admit only 1 of these stamps had seen ink in nearly a year.....Tsk, Tsk!
I also really wanted to use my newly purchased "Scallop Square Duo" die, which l absolutely love!  Heaps of nesting combo's with this and the square and Scalloped Square punches.

Ok, last one for the minute, l need to photograph a couple more to post a little later!

This one was inspired by one l had seen on-line and saved ages ago.....sorry, cant remember where or who, but if it's yours please drop me an email so l can give credit where it's due!....Love this set, now that l have actually played with it!

The greeting is stamped on c/stock and overlayed with Vellum.

All products used  are Stampin-Up and available in the current Catalogue.

Well l'm certainly feeling way less guilty now and cant wait to see the new Catalogue!!!

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

  2. Nikki these are all terrific. Love them all and I can so relate to not inking a lot of the stamps I've purchased over the past year.

  4. Love those little embossed owls; too cute! I'm about as guilty as you, of the under-use of the cute Funky Four set (and I only just discovered tonight I own those sentiments too - oops, better use them!). Cottage Garden is also a recent purchase for me, and I'm a convert ... not that I've used it, LOL. Might have to CASE your cute creations, my friend. Love them all!

    1. Hi Lynn, thank you for your lovely comment..:0) The punch is called the "Owl Builder" punch and is a product from Stampin Up.
If you are in Australia, email me and l can order one for you or you can order direct from the SU online shop if you are elsewhere.
