Happy New Year everyone!

We are back and hopping for our first Just Add Ink challenge for 2024 and this one is all about "FLOWERS".

With the new year comes a new mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration promotion from Stampin Up! and the first thing on my wish list from those was the beautiful "Enduring Beauty Bundle". I just love that it comes with Stamps-Dies-Masks, that coordinate beautifully.

To start my project, l stamped the large floral image in Staz-on black and used the masks and blending brushes to lay down the colours l wanted as a base.

I have also added some depth to these using Stampin Blends.

Colours for the flowers are Bubble Bath & Fresh Freesia/Pumpkin Pie & Cajun Craze/Lemon Lolly & Crushed Curry.

Foliage l used Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow.

To add some detail, l used a black fineliner to darken the stamens and white gel pen for highlights.

To finish off l have added a Linen Thread bow, some Silver Sequins and a greeting from the Sending Smiles stamps/dies.

Just Add Ink #681...Inspiration!

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is fun, festive and colourful! It's perfect for creating some Christmas projects or as l have done, a birthday celebration.

I have so many birthdays this time of year, so using a softer version of the colours and a bunch of florals & foliage stamped with the Translucent Florals & Quiet Meadow stamps, this is my take on this weeks inspiration...With a fun fold thrown in.

Over at Just Add Ink this week we have a gorgeous colour challenge from Di...These colours are just a delight to use together.

I decided to give some new toys a run on this one using the gorgeous Abundant Beauty Masks to create a pretty bloom to pop on top of a Scalloped Gift Card box, also a new item.
These little boxes are a great size and perfect for popping a chocolate in with a gift card.

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is from Jan and she has provided a great sketch that was simple and fun to create with.

I decided Christmas was my theme for this one and using the lovely new Christmas Classic bundle was perfect for the sketch elements.

Colours are Berry Burst-Old Olive-Mossy Meadow & Gold embossing. All layered up on a panel of Berry Burst embossed with the Spots & Stripes folder.
