Just Add Ink #580...Colour!

 

Happy Friday everyone!

This weeks pretty colour challenge at Just Add Ink was suggested by Rochelle and these colours are just lovely to create with.

I am still on a Christmas roll and have used the Poinsettia Petals stamps and dies with the gorgeous Eden Garden dsp.

To colour the leaves and petals, l used a sponge dauber to create a softer look in Blushing Bride & Evening Evergreen...The stem type branches are Evening Evergreen & Gold Foil.

Short and sweet from me this week, as l have some Christmas shopping to start and finally being free of lockdown in Vic, that means l can shop in store...Yay!

Colour INKspiration...#111

Evening all!

It is Colour INKspiration challenge time and this week Nicole has given us this beautiful colour combination....LOVE it!

For my project this week, l have created a couple of decent size gift boxes using Indras Basteloase projects for inspiration.

I absolutely love how big they are and how easy they were to create, Indra has kindly shared the measurements and a video on how too.

I have used Thick Very Vanilla c/stock as the base for both. I had intended to only make one, but as l had some little DSP off cuts from the gorgeous NEW Eden Garden DSP, l created a second and stamped the base using Forever Fern in the challenge colours.

I have added some Brilliant Wings butterfly die cuts for some extra detail with Gilded Gem centres.

Just Add Ink #579...Choose two!

 

Good Morning Friends!

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge of "Choose Two" was suggested by Jan...Perfect for creating some Christmas projects being all about Sparkle & Shine!

My chosen two elements are "Foil & Shimmer" using the super cute Kraft Giftboxes and the Whimsy & Wonder Suite of products!

Loads of fussy cutting and a little stamping made it a relaxing project to create. The "Foil" is mostly the print on the dsp and a slimline strip of (retired) champagne foil on the bottom and the "Shimmer" is the (retired) Champagne shimmer mist, definitely one of my all time fave SU products...This was sprayed on a couple of the gifts and the Snowflake, and to finish, l have added a Genial Gem on the bow and a piece of pearly tissue paper that matched perfectly with the colours.

Stamp Review Crew...Forever Fern!

 

Evening all!

Its hop time over at Stamp Review Crew and for this one we are sharing our projects created using the lovely "Forever Fern" bundle.

This was a must have in my stash, as its so versatile for loads of crafting themes. For this one l have challenged myself to create another Christmas card using a non specific Christmas set...And l love it!

To create the foliage the colours l've used are Evening Evergreen-Soft Succulent-Soft Sea Foam...All stamped with the same leaf image.

I also added some retired star punches in gold foil and diecut some gold foliage from Poinsettia Petals dies and the "JOY" sentiment From Merriest Moments is shadow stamped in Evening Evergreen & Soft Succulent.

The dsp is from a brand "NEW" suite of products called the "Eden Garden" collection...Available tomorrow, Nov 2nd.

When you have a fave dsp pattern, this is a great way to eliminate wastage! I now have a precut stitched panel for another project!

Just Add Ink #578...Sketch!

 

Good Morning everyone!

This week over at Just Add Ink Narelle has challenged us to use this fun sketch to create our projects!

I have used the lovely Flowers of Friendship bundle to create a pretty birthday card with lots of sparkle & texture!

The blends colours l have used on this one are Soft Succulent-Evening Evergreen-Fresh Freesia-Pale Papaya-Mango Melody-Flirty Flamingo-Polished Pink.

The Basic White layer is embossed with the Painted Texture 3D folder, layered on some Misty Moonlight and a Crumbcake base.
I've also added as part of the sketch a Vellum Doily, some Basic Rhinestone centers and gave the whole thing a spritz of Champagne Shimmer for some sparkle. The greeting is from Peaceful Moments and stamped on a Everyday Label punch.
