Just Add Ink #220...Sketch!

Happy Friday friends!....It's time for another Just Add Ink challenge and this week we have a great sketch from Kim to play with.

I kept my card pretty simple and only deviated a little from the actual sketch. I used the "Bitty Banner" punch and the "So Very Grateful" stamp set and selected the largest bloom and leaves to colour and fussy cut to create a swag effect.

The colour was applied using a sponge dauber and the "New" 2014/16 In Colours...Which l am so in love with by the way! So you can expect to see a whole lot more of them coming up!

Vivid Vases.........

Good Morning!...Just popping in to share a project created with some fun new goodies from Stampin Up! It seems like I'm fighting an uphill battle getting my projects photographed and loaded these days..:0) We've had such dull miserable weather of late and being able to get a decent shot has been difficult to say the least, but l finally got some okay pics, so will no doubt be bombarding you over the next few days..:0)

To create this one l used the Vivid Vases stamp and coloured 3 of them with Blendabilities, the others were stamped and paper pieced onto some yummy new Moonlight DSP.

Hey there!...It's time for another fun challenge over at Just Add Ink and this week we have a great "Inspiration" pic for you, provided by Trish.

How cool are those colours and very on trend patterns! I decided they were perfect for giving my "Geometrical Bundle" a work out and l opted for Night of Navy, Smoky Slate,Whisper White & Daffodil Delight for my colours.

Just Add Ink #218....In-Colours & A Sneak Peek!

Hey friends!....It's Friday, yay! That means another fun challenge for you over at Just Add Ink. With the transition from old to new, with Stampin Up's catalogue year, it's time to say goodbye to five of our current In-Colours, to make way for five lovely "New" one's. So Kim thought a fond farewell was in order for this week!

We want you to create a project using a combination of any three!

Here's what l came up with....using Gumball Green, Midnight Muse & Raspberry Ripple....and the super cute new "Kinda Eclectic" set....

Zoo Babies-Double Slider!....

Happy hump day!....Today l have a fun interactive style card to share, using the very cute "Zoo Babies" set and a fun pulley system..:0)

I had made one of these about 5 years ago and was about to bin it in my clean up, but instead decided to pull it apart and make another using some more current supplies. I wasn't loving my first one, but this one makes me smile, l love pulling the tab and watching it pop out both ends.

For this one I've opted for a vertical slide, but l have all the bit's cut up to make another that slides horizontally...These are fun to make, but sooo hard to photograph once open!

Blended Bloom & Blendabilities...

Hey there everyone!...I hope you've all enjoyed a lovely weekend, we've had a nice long one here in Australia, to celebrate the Queens birthday. And after spending a lovely day out yesterday, shopping, lunch and a massage with my two beautiful girls, l thought it was about time l got creating...:0)

I've been a bit AWOL in that area this week, as l decided to spend my free time tidying, sorting and culling in preparation for the new Stampin Up Catalogue year, beginning on the 1st of July.

But l do have a card to share using the "Blended Bloom" stamp that we received at "Inspire-Create-Share"...I had actually coloured this the day l got home, using the "Calypso Coral" Blendabilities we also received...Bonus! And now it's finally made it onto a card!

Did you notice the splatters?....Not in my original plan, but as l pulled the lid off the darkest shade to colour some little flowers for the inside, the ink just sprayed everywhere and you guessed it...All over my card base..:0( But after my initial shock, l thought why not go with it and added some more, so not a total disaster..:0)

Freehand Watercolour...

Morning friends!...While we are on a watercolour kick over at Just Add Ink, l thought l would share another card using a technique from "OCC-Watercolour for Cards"...Yep, I'm still playing catchup on the homework  and even though the class has long finished, l do like to complete the techniques shared, even if I'm late..:0)

This one was so much fun and l love the NO line look when it's finished!
