Just Add Ink..#133.......

It's that time of the week again people and this week our Just Add Ink challenge is to add ........
                                  "MUSTARD & METALICS"
I am sure l heard a groan or two from the Design Team when l suggested this one and l must say until recently l had not used it all that much myself, but over the last few months it has popped up a few times in my papercraft and is now a new fave for sure!
The Design Team have really aced this challenge and have created some stunners for you......anyhoo, here's my card, l really challenged myself on this one by adding Christmas to the mix, definitely non traditional Christmas colours...well for me anyway!

It was a little hard to capture the soft shimmery colouring and the gold embossing at the same time, sorry...this is the best l could do!
I really love this set, it reminds me of our really old, super fragile glass baubles we had, well actually l still have some safely tucked away for....not sure why really, l'm just too scared they would get broken l guess, especially with all the little fingers around here these days...bless them!

"Thanks for stopping by & have a lovely week"

All products used are Stampin-Up.

  3. This is gorgeous Nikki. So glad you shared the 2nd picture too as I would not have picked the gold embossing. I actually thought you had stamped in Stazon and the glitter was the 'metallics' part of the challenge. Love the use of the new framelits too. Very very nice.

I LOVE these baubles...... Who'd have thought mustard for Christmas; but is IS sorta a "golden" Christmassy color. Over the top on this one. Still thinking I SHOULD get this set but I have sworn to NO CHRISTMAS SETS as 1/2 my rubba is Christmas. TFS

  7. BEAUTIFUL Christmas card, my friend. The white is so crisp against the rich, regal look of More Mustard. Just love the embossing and sparkle; makes for a very elegant card. Thanks for pushing us outside our comfort zones with this challenge!

  8. I really love these colours for Christmas Nikki! I was going to skip this weeks challenge but decided to test myself as More Mustard is not a colour I use - thanks for coming up with this challenging challenge!
