Just Add Ink #110

Brrrrrrrr....a chilly good morning and a happy Friday to you! This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is another great "Sketch" from Mae Collins

I loved this sketch as soon as l saw it and new exactly what l was going to do, l procrastinated a little over my colours and finally settled on a combination of Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla & Crumbcake, l have been using my Boho punch a lot lately as l have a bit of a mini flower thing going on and these look so pretty popped on top of the SU Doily punch.

I used my Parlor Prints background stamp & clear E/P to add some texture, it's a little hard to see but it does look very pretty, the other products l used were my crimper, mini brads, cherry cobbler twine, Sense of Time sentiment stamp, Bravo Burgundy ink and Lucky Limeade Card stock for the leaf layer on the Flowers.
I love the clean lines of this card, but l also like the combination of the flowers, doilies, text and background, very much a CAS meets Vintage!

Don't forget to check out the great inspiration for this sketch provided by the rest of the DT over at JAI, and l hope you can play along with this weeks challenge.

"Thanks for stopping by & have a great day"

  3. So much beauty on just one card - LOVE it, Nikki! Gorgeous, rich, elegant colour combination. I adore the look of the little flowers layered on top of the doily punchies (will be borrowing that idea). The way you've crimped the sentiment panel adds to the elegance. Great job with this sketch!
