Just Add Ink #287.....Inspiration!

Hey there! It's that time again over at Just Add Ink  and this week Jodene has given us some lovely, colourful inspiration to play with.

It's rather obvious what inspired me and that was the leaves and the lovely yellow and orange tones. As for my last post, l used the "Lighthearted Leaves" set again. I embossed in white e/p and coloured using my markers and blender pen in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive. I also used my Blendies to colour the rhinestones to match.

The design team have used the inspiration to create some gorgeous projects, so don't forget to pop by the challenge blog for that lovely inspiration.

Stamp Review Crew...Lighthearted Leaves Edition!

Welcome to another edition of the "Stamp Review Crew"... This week we are showcasing the lovely "Lighthearted Leaves" set.

If you are following the blog hop, you would have just arrived from the talented Bronwyn Eastley and her inspiring creations.

I'm a little in love with stamp set, as the lineart/Zentangle style is so lovely to colour and is very versatile...I had heaps of fun creating my projects for this hop and am very much looking forward to having another play with it really soon.

My first project uses Basic Grey & Mint Macaron.

And for this one l used Bermuda Bay, Basic Black,Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo & Mint Macaron.

Just Add Ink #286...Just Add "W"

Happy Friday friends! It's time for another challenge over at Just Add Ink and This week Tina would like us to "JUST ADD W".

This means you can add anything with a "W". It can be colours, embellishments, theme etc, it's totally up to you, as long as there is a "W" in there somewhere..:0)

I chose to add a "Wreath" and "Wishes" as my "W" elements. I also couldn't resist adding a cute fussy cut Santa from the lovely "Home for Christmas" dsp.

Just Add Ink #285...Colour!

Can you believe it's only 2 months until Christmas.....Thinking l'm in denial, it's just too soon!

Our challenge over at Just Add Ink  this week is some very on trend colours.  I'm loving all of  the gorgeous home decor, stationary and papercraft products around that incorporate these colours and deer/stag heads. So many of them just keep following me home..:0)

I recently bought a beautiful journal with a similar image to my card and it just so happened to have a few of these pretty colours on it....Hence my inspiration was born!

Just Add Ink #284...Fancy Folds!

It's that time of the week again and this week over at Just Add Ink, Di would like us to "Just Add a Fancy Fold"...

As l'm still plodding along with my Christmas prep, l decided to go with another "Wonderland" creation.

It's pretty simple as far as fancy folds go, but it needed to be post friendly and this fits in a standard envelope...So it was a win for me.

I started with a standard half A4 card base in Basic Black.

Scored on the 8-1/4" side @ 2-1/8"  3-1/8"  5-1/8" & 6-1/8"

Basic Black panel is 4-1/8" x 4-1/8"

Whisper White panel is 3-7/8" x 3-7/8"

Winter Wonderland DSP panels 1-3/4" X 5-1/2" x 2

Basic Black Circle 3-1/4"

Whisper White Circle 2-3/4"

Just Add Ink #283...Sketch!

Happy almost weekend to you!....This week over at Just Add Ink we have a great sketch for you to play with from Narelle.

I went uber clean on this one, using the "Gorgeous Grunge" set to create the background sketch elements and some of the lovely "Into the Woods" dsp for my butterfly. I went with a few of the colours from this for the background stamping.  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry & Daffodl Delight.

Just Add Ink #282....Inspiration!

Check out the lovely inspiration we have for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge!   Narelle has provided such pretty pics for us to work with and l really enjoyed the creative process on this one!

It's pretty self explanatory, but what really grabbed my attention was the bold stripes and pink tones.
I used the fun Misti tool to get precise stamping...Love the concept, but must say l think l need some more practice, especially with the huge amount of images in this stamp set from Altenew..:0) To create the stripes l used the yummy big background stamp from SU called "Brushstrokes".
