Just Add Ink #756...Add a Belly Band!

 

Happy Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink this week we have a fun "belly Band" challenge!

My project for this one is a fun fold with belly band using the beautiful "Florals in Bloom" dsp and "Impressions a Bloom" bundle.

The colours are just so pretty and include some of the 25/27 In Colours...Timid Tiger-Strawberry Slush-Darling Duckling & Shy Shamrock, Garden & Granny Apple Green

I love this simple fold, which uses a half sheet of 12x12 dsp, scored at 2" 4" 8" & 10". Belly band is Timid Tiger cardstock 3/4" with a diecut from the Greetings of the Season dies and a 2" circle with a greeting from the Thankful Garden stamps.

To finish off l've added some of the pretty new Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems.

Colour INKspiration #189

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and this week Monica has given us a lovely colour palette to create with.

This one has 3 of the gorgeous "New" 25/27 In colours, they are Darling Duckling-Secret Sea-Cloud Cover and one of the originals Melon Mambo.

I really enjoyed creating this project and used the Layers of Beauty bundle that includes masks...so much fun and a great way to combine colours to create a whole different look.

Using the masks, l inked up a blender brush in Darling Duckling for the first two layers, then added some Melon Mambo over the top, this resulted in a more peachy colour which l loved.

Foliage was base and second layer in Cloud Cover, although it appears different to the cardstock due some production issues.

The greeting is from the Sweet Blooms bundle in Secret Sea & Cloud cover. I went for a tone on tone background, stamping one of the smaller images in Secret Sea on Secret Sea cardstock for some added detail and focal panel is from the Everyday Arches dies and the "Hello" is from the Everyday Arches stamps...another fun SU bundle...To finish off l have added some of the Muted Palette dots.

Just Add Ink #754...Choose Two!

Good Morning friends!

Over at Just Add Ink this week, Kim has given us a fun choose two challenge to create with and with the arrival of "New stampin Up!" goodies, l was a little spoilt for choice as to what l would open first!

I decided on the lovely "Extraordinary Flora" products and just wow! I love that it has Washi Tape, but also its so simple to use.

I cut a piece of the pretty Washi tape and layered it on some basic white cardstock and then using the dies from the Extraordinary flora bundle, l lined them up with the images on the taped panel and ran it through my bigshot....So many dainty little pieces ready to create with....So, my chosen "Two" were die cuts & flowers.

I've also used one of the Glass & Garden Embossing folders to add some texture, sentiment is from the stamp set in this bundle and the inky splotches are from the Elements of Text stamp set in Summer Splash.

To finish off l added some of the 24-26 In Col flat pearls and a linen thread bow.

Just Add Ink #748...Sketch!

 

Good Morning friends!

Over at Just Add Ink Kim has given us this fun sketch to create with and l couldn't resist using my current fave bundle!

I just love that the Thankful Garden bundle has Stamps-Dies-Masks, as it makes creating quick and simple!

The greeting is from the Ocean Friends stamps and the DSP is also from the Lovely Garden suite of products...matchy, matchy at its finest!

Colours are Fresh Freesia & Garden Green with some Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish off.

Colour INKspiration #186.

 

Over at Colour INKspiration challenges we have a new challenge happening and for this one we are giving the 23/25 In Colours a final run before they retire.

I have to say l wasn't a huge fan of this group of colours, but l definitely had a couple of faves! These are Wild Wheat & Pebbled Path, both of which l've added to this project.

Flowers are the Wild Wheat & the leaves were a happy accident of both Wild Wheat & Pebbled Path. I say accident as after loading my blending brush with Pebbled Path for the first leaves mask layer, l accidently swiped it across the Wild Wheat when reloading...after a few head slaps, l decided it was more than ok, as it gives a definite green tone...win, win!

I've used the Thankful Garden bundle, Regal Winter dsp and the Greetings of the Season dies, with some gold Blooming Pearls & Twisted cord to finish.

Just Add Ink #746...Add Swirls!

 

Good Morning Just Add Ink friends! It's time for this weeks challenge and for this one l have suggested the team "ADD SWIRLS" to their projects!

So many ways to do this and l have added swirls in 2 ways, the first by inking up the soft waves embossing folder and running it through the big shot, second is using the sweet swirl dots. These were the reason for my colour choices, being Pecan Pie-Fresh Freesia & some old olive.

The Simply Zinnia bundle was my go to for this one and l kind of like the look, although not colours l would normally choose.

Colour INKspiration #185.

 

Evening all!

Time for new Colour INKspiration challenge and Vicki has given us some fab colours to create with!

For my take on the challenge colours, l've pulled out the Delightful Wishes bundle, Birthday Celebaration dies, Country Wood DSP and some Rainbow adhesive dots!

To create a softer tone for the blooms, l've used the coordinating inks on Basic White cardstock for the base & solid cardstock for the layer.

This was simple and fun to create, lots of die cutting, shading & only a little stamping!
