Over at Colour INKspiration challenges, Jan has given us this pretty colour combination to create with and these colours work beautifully together for a variety of themes.

For this one l have used the Boutique Blossoms bundle & the Opulent Oasis set for the sentiment.

Blooms have been stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia, foliage is Soft Sea Foam, shaded with a blending brush.

These are all popped up on a Perennial Postage stamp die cut in Blackberry Bliss for a bit of drama. Some linen thread & basic rhinestones for extra detail.

Just Add Ink #792...Choose Two!

 

It's time for a fun new Just Add Ink challenge. This one was suggested by Tristan and she has challenged us to choose two or more of the elements.

I have used all four on this simple project by adding some of the Peaceful Pines Gingham Gallery dsp, the Fern & Flora bundle for flowers, sentiment is stamped on a 1-3/4 punched circle and l've added some Loose Gold Sequins.

The other embellishments are 26-28 In Col dots & Butterflies, with some of the pretty Barely Blush Bordered Ribbon.

It's sweet & simple and was quick to create and the sentiment lends itself to a variety of occasions.

Over at Colour INKspiration challenge, Vicki has given us this lovely colour combination to create with.

I've gone fairly simple, using the Balloon Festoon bundle, paired with some Beautiful Life dsp as a base.

Balloons are all Basic White, shaded and stamped with the challenge colours. Embellishments are the Moody Palette Glossy dots-Basic Rhinestones-Gold Twisted thread & some Dazzling Diamonds(retired) to add a little sparkle.

Just Add Ink #791...Christmas in July!

 

HO-Ho-Ho, Happy Friday all!

Our Just Add Ink challenge this week is from Kim and her theme was "Christmas in July".

This one was definitely a challenge, as don't have a lot of current Stampin Up! Christmas product being mid year. But l do have a lot of retired stuff...So that's were l looked.

The cardbase is Cherry Cobbler, with a panel of the "Season of Elegance" dsp (retired or almost so) I love the gold foil on this paper.

I wanted to keep it simple with this dsp and a single flower appealed, so l have used 2 of the flower diecuts and the leaves from the Heirloom Boutique dies, shaded with Real Red & Old Olive inks and blender brushes and added a gold foil center to tie in with the gold on the paper. Sentiment is from a retired Christmas set embossed in Gold E/P on Cherry cobbler.

It was super quick to make and l have to say l think it looks pretty decent!

Just Add Ink #790...Stencils & Dies!

 

Happy Friday all!

Over at Just Add Ink we have a Dies & Stencils challenge this week. 

I don't actually have a lot of current stencils/masks, so decided to create my own using one of the Arched Wishes dies and some copy paper...could not for the life of me find my masking paper...No doubt it will show up now l don't need it!

Cardbase is Cloud Cover as is the inked arch, applied with a blending brush. Flowers are my Die element using the Velvet Meadow designer series paper and the Flowering Meadow dies.

Foliage is Peaceful Pines cardstock and Gems are from the Moody Palette glossy dots, not 100% on their colours, but they worked.

Sentiment is also from the Flowering Meadow stamps and a little double Gold thread bow to finish!

Just Add Ink #789...Sketch!

 

It's Friday and that means a new Just Add Ink challenge is happening. For this one Tristan has given us a fun sketch to create with.

I've gone very simple, letting the panel from the Lovely Blossoms dsp do the work, with a simple Thanks greeting from the Flowering Meadow stamp set. Popped up on 2 diecuts from the Words of Beauty dies in Night of Navy & Basic White and finished off with a gold thread bow and some Dewdrops Embellishments.

It was quick and fun to create and used a little of my ever expanding dsp stash.

It's Colour INKspiration challenge time and for this one Monica has provided a very cool almost retro colour palette for us to create with.

I really wanted to have another play with the fab & fun Balloon Festoon bundle on a clean card for a teen girl.

I have diecut a balloon in each of the colours and shaded in the coordinating inks, strings are gold foil and l have also added some of the Loose Gold Sequins for extra bling.

It still wasn't doing it for me, so l added some of the sweet little florals from the Boutique Blossoms bundle with basic pearl centers...Love, Love, Love these colours together and although very clean & simple, l'm pretty happy with the end result...Hope she likes it!

I have to say, the new white gel pens are the bomb!

Just Add Ink #788...Colour & Inspiration!

 

Happy chilly Friday friends!

Over at Just Add Ink we have a fun Colour & Inspiration challenge...we can use the colours or the inspiration or a combination of both.

I decided to go with the the colours, using Stampin Ups! Basic Black-Basic Grey-Smoky Slate & Hydrangea Hue.

Designer paper is from the 26/28 In Colour Painted Patterns pack. Stamps and diecuts are a combination of Capturing Smiles & Balloon Festoon bundles.

Other supplies are Vellum for the film, blk & white twisted bakers twine (retired) and my absolute NEW fave toy, the white Gel Pens...They are amazing, so thick and roll beautifully, much better than my old ones.

Colour INKspiration...#211

Happy Wednesday friends!

Over at Colour INKspiration challenges this week Leonie has given us these pretty colours to create with and l love that there are 3 of the New 26/28 In colours to play with.

I decided to go bold with this weeks project and used another new fave the Heirloom Boutique dies. I do love a good size floral to play with.

Cardbase and panel are Misty Moonlight cardstock, to add depth to the panel l have used a blending brush and Misty Moonlight inkpad and watered down ink to add speckles.

Blooms are two of each size, diecut in Bubble Bath & Hydrangea Hue, with ink blending added and a gold foil center. Leaves are Peaceful Pine, blended with the inkpad and blending brush.

The small birthday sentiment is a partial stamp from the Words of Beauty set and the Wishes is from the Words of Wishes dies in Vellum & Gold foil.

To add a little more sparkle I've added some Loose Gold sequins and a tiny 26/28 In Colour butterfly in Peaceful Pine to finish off.
