Just Add Ink #777...BLOG HOP!

 

Welcome back to our first Just Add Ink challenge for 2026!

As we always do, we are kicking of the year with a full team "Blog Hop" with the theme of "Add Something Seasonal" for this year.

If you are happily hopping, you would have arrived here from my lovely and talented friend Narelle and her fabulous seasonal project.

As its the middle of Summer here and that generally means beach hangs and finding all sorts of creatures in the shoreline and rock pools.

So the Ocean Friends bundle and Friends of the ocean dsp were an easy choice. Hints of Bermuda Bay & Lemon Lime Twist cardstocks, with the Gold Open Weave trim and some Sunny Day Iridescent dots to add some sparkle.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Celebration stamp set.

Colour INKspiration #202

Welcome back to our first Colour INKspiration challenge for 2026.  Lou has provided some lovely colours to create with and you'll have 4 weeks to join in the fun.

I wanted to combine the colours with some new supplies and have used the lovely subtle "Lasting  Linen" BG stamp in crumbcake, with a new fave floral, the "Fragrant Layer" stamp set and popped them all on 2 of the Party Banner diecuts.

Finished it all off with a linen thread bow & some 24-26 In Col shimmer dots.

Just Add Ink #776...Choose Two or More!

 

Happy Festive Friday Friends!

This is our final challenge for 2025 over at Just Add Ink and Kim has provided some great "Choose Two or More" options to play with. I needed to make a sweet and simple Birthday card and decided this challenge would fit perfectly. 

I've used the Painted Stripes B/G stamp applying in with blender brushes in Petunia Pop & Bubble Bath.

Layered up a couple of Arched Wishes diecuts in Basic White & Bubble Bath. 

Cupcake wrapper is Petunia Pop and icing is a very generous spray of Champagne Shimmer Mist (easier to see in first pic also retired).

I decided to add some dainty flowers with Basic Pearl centers and foliage using a couple of (Retired) punches and a Linen Thread bow to finish off.

This challenge will finish on the 31st Dec and is Non Voting.

Colour INKspiration #201

So this is Christmas....Not really, but not long to go. But it is the last challenge for the year over at Colour INKspiration challenges and this one is from Bernie. It runs for 5 weeks, so plenty of time to join in and share your projects post festive season.

I felt like making something big bold and beautiful with these colours and the Thankful Garden bundle was perfect!

I love that it includes stamps-Dies-Masks, makes creating super quick and stress free, perfect this time of year.

The sentiment is from the Charming Day stamps, on a basic white & gold foil Stitched So Sweetly diecuts(retired), l've added some (retired) enamel dots to balance it out.

Just Add Ink #775...Celebration!

 

It's Just Add Ink time and this week Lou has challenged us to add a "Celebration" to our projects...Simple and fun!

I needed to make a milestone birthday card for a friend and to be honest, l totally forgot l hadn't created anything for this challenge yet...So it was quick and simple, using the large flower from the Layers of Beauty bundle, that l had already partially coloured for a previous project.

I used Pink Pirouette(retired)-Old Olive-Mossy Meadow for the colours and added a Gold Glimmer diecut from the also retired Celebrate You dies.

The base is embossed with the Plaid embossing folder and to finish off, a little Linen Thread bow.

Colour INKspiration #200

This week over at Colour INKspiration challenges, we are celebrating our 200th challenge with current and past design team. On Jan 11th 2017, the lovely Bronwyn Eastley created Colour INKspiration challenges and with many design team, some still current, this fabulous and creative crew have reached the fabulous milestone of 200 challenges!

Huge thanks also goes to the lovely Lou Kitzelman and the admin team for a fun and consistent challenge to be a part of!

This challenge is a little different from our norm, but so much fun being able to choose our feature colour from current or retired Stampin Up! colours.

I couldn't resist my all time fave pink for this one, being "Pink Pirouette" it's just so pretty, soft & clean.

I've teamed it with Basic White-Basic Black-Crumbcake from our allowed extra challenge colours.

I've used the lovely Layers of Beauty bundle-Arched Wishes Dies-Elements of Text and a greeting from the very cute Gnomes for Summer stamps (retired). To finish off l have added a Linen Thread bow and some teeny Basic Pearls.

I just love this colour combination, it's always been a fave and even though the stamped leaves are Crumbcake, l think they work really well.

Just Add Ink #774...Stencils & Dies!

 

We have another fun "NEW" concept challenge happening over at Just Add Ink this week, it's all about Dies & Stencils! You can use either of those or a combination of both and combine them with absolutely any product you like!

I decided on the pretty Thankful Garden bundle, as it has Dies-Stamps & stencils! It makes creating so quick and easy.

On this one l have featured the Lovely Garden DSP, as l'm back on my use my dsp phase! This print is very pretty and inspired the stamped/stencil focal image.

To colour the flowers l have used Crushed Curry & Garden Green in various strengths with blender brushes.

I then diecut some extra foliage in Garden Green & Gold Glimmer and popped them all up on a Spotlight on Nature diecut and chose the same one in the small size for the sentiment.

Just Add Ink #773...Sketch!

 

Happy Friday friends!

It's time for another Just Add Ink challenge and this one is from Tristan. She has given us a lovely sketch to create with and the possibilities were endless!

I decided to cut into some more of my Painted Pears dsp. I have used it as the base panel and also fussy cut some of the little blossoms.

The card base is Secret Sea, sentiment panels are diecut from the Traditional Labels dies in Darling Duckling & Petal Pink. Stamped in Secret Sea.

Foliage is diecut using the Painterly Pears dies in Old Olive and Pecan Pie. To finish off l've added a couple of Basic Pearls & a Gold Twine Bow.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out using this combination of papers and colours.
