It's that time of year, when for one day "MUM" is No: 1, whether your a Mother, Grandmother or Daughter it is a day to remember or be remembered.
So in honour of that Just Add Ink have set a challenge to Just Add a Flower,
All the girls on the DT have produced some Beautiful samples to get those creative juices flowing....
As Cherry Cobbler is one of my favourite SU colours, l went with that & Very Vanilla. using the Build a blossom stamps & Blossom petals punch, l stamped on Very Vanilla with Cherry cobbler & over stamped using the stamp-a-ma-jig with Bravo Burgundy & punched out the petals, the under layer of petals is Cobbler c/stock punched & run through the Crimper, for the leaves l used Pear & Old olive.
All of the petals & leaves copped a severe scrunching just to soften the look.
Using the Cobbler DSP l embossed it with the Framed Tulips Emb/folder & also used this on the Very Vanilla centre panel, to finish off l punched a Cobbler Decorative label & stamped my greeting from the "Well Scripted" stamp set & added the lovely "All a Flutter" butterfly, a couple of Basic Pearls and it was complete.
Wishing everyone a lovely Mothers Day.

Colouring Mediums.......
As I've said before Colouring is one of my favourite pastimes, so with that in mind l thought l would give the same stamp a whirl and try different mediums....
This one was done using Watercolour pencils...The colours for this are Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay & Melon Mambo and the image was stamped on Watercolour paper.
And this one with Stampin-Up Markers and Aqua painter.........and the colour combo is, Night of Navy, So Saffron & Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White cardstock.
I really enjoyed using both, but l think l prefer the finished look of the Markers, l didn't over embellish the cards, rather leave them simple to keep the image as a feature.
Enjoy your day....

Just Add Ink Challenge # 65
The challenge for us this week is to add "MATESHIP/FRIENDSHIP" in honour of ANZAC DAY. (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps).
It is traditionally known as a day to remember those lives lost so many years past on 25th April 1915, during the 1st World War, it is a day when both Australia and New Zealand unite, just as they, our brave soldiers, known now as ANZAC'S did, when they landed on the shores of Gallipoli, on a beach now known as ANZAC COVE.....
It is also a day to reflect on the many brave men & women, in all wars, that have given their lives to serve and protect our great nations..."lest we Forget".
I chose to go with Mateship as l had been given this image from a friend and thought that it was perfect for the image of an Aussie Bloke! Not mine l might add!
Supplies:
Crumbcake-Real Red-Night of Navy-Whisper White C/stocks.
Hemp Twine & Jumbo Eyelet & Crop-a-dile.
Crimper.
Greeting (computer generated).
Have a safe and happy Easter & thanks for stopping by.

A rose is a Rose...
At present l am in Cambodia, it is truly a beautiful place, unfortunately l am not so! it is sooo...hot and l have frizz that would put the Jackson five to shame and a severe case of THANKLES,
Anyway before l left for hols l took some photo's of some of the cards l hadn't yet shared with you.
My baby girl was married last year in Bali and had a vintage kitchen tea, with all the trimmings, cupcakes, teapots, frilly aprons etc and this was her invite, let me tell you cutting out 35+ little deers was no picnic, but it was a great day, but unfortunatly l forgot to load a pic for you, it was all so vintage cute.
The next photos are of a project l made during Un-Convention on Stampin connection last year, now if memory serves me, l think it was a project set by Christine Healey, not 100% though.
This was such a fun project, l used one of my fav DSP and stamp sets, that l am now hoarding for a rainy day! I love the notelets and it makes a lovely gift, it will easily hold 4 cards and envelopes.
Anyway, l just thought it was something to post while l was away and l'm off to do a "COOKS in TUKTUKS" cooking class this morning.
